Who We Are

Provell, Inc., a privately-held business services company based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, develops and manages an extensive portfolio of unique and leading-edge membership and customer relationship marketing programs. These programs are offered to corporate clients who are seeking to enhance customer loyalty and generate additional revenue systems from their customers. Subscribers to our proprietary programs receive exclusive savings opportunities on a wide range of lifestyle-specific products and services, insightful information, and other benefits in interest areas such as shopping, travel, hospitality, entertainment & leisure, health & fitness, home decorating & improvement, and cooking.

Our History

Provell was originally established in 1986 as Damark International, Inc., which became one of the country’s largest business-to-consumer catalog companies with roughly $500 million in sales. Our membership marketing business activities started twenty years ago in 1987 with the introduction of the country’s first custom-designed discount shopping program, the Preferred Buyer’s Club, which was sold to Damark’s own catalog customers. This first ground-breaking club was the catalyst for the membership business segment, which continued to grow and expand beyond shopping/merchandise programs to other interest categories.

Our Present & Future

Beginning in 1997 and building on what was then ten years of experience in designing and marketing custom-built membership programs, we started offering our innovative program content to customers of corporate clients. Experience had taught us that membership selling not only generated significant commission income for our clients but, done right, also enhanced our clients’ brand equity and promoted customer loyalty. In 2000, we officially became Provell, Inc. as we exited the catalog segment and focused exclusively on the membership marketing business. By 2001, our business had aggressively expanded as consumer marketing organizations, convinced that the Provell model worked, joined our existing client list of financial institutions and oil companies. Currently, Provell, Inc. operates a rapidly growing membership/customer relationship marketing business, complemented by merchandise marketing activities that support our membership program content provisioning. As the only membership services company with a rich tradition and deep experience in true customer relationship marketing, Provell’s overall strategic objective is simple – to improve the economics of your customer relationships.
